Fun wooshing sounds! Easy to install if you can follow directions and have half a brain. Didn’t come with the rubber gasket for the bottom of the enclosure so that wasn’t good.. but I don’t think you REALLY need it. Works great. I’ve read that some people’s engine light came on after Install, wasn’t the case for me. Slowly gave it more and more gas over time to make sure it was installed properly and whatnot. Now I can floor it on a whim and not think twice about it. Works like a charm. Tighten everything snug AF, and really jam the air sensor thing in the rubber hole you install. Don’t break it, but support it with your fingers and jam it in there. I bet that’s where most people went wrong, too loose. That’s what she said. Can definitely feel a little extra give in the higher rpms. My F-150 is tuned so there was a ton of torque before and there’s still a ton now so there’s that. Worth $400 bucks? Little steep on the price ngl. I’m sure there’s a cheaper option for nearly identical results. Nonetheless K&N is a great name brand and it definitely looks, sounds, and feels cool. Oh yeah, and if you cruise control the speed limit on the highway, you can get 1 more mpg pretty reliably. If you just drive without cruise control, it’s hard to tell any difference in MPGs. Enjoyyy

Cleans up engine bay nicely. There is a noticeable difference in power and throttle response which definitely makes for a more fun driving experience. Don’t get this expecting massive power gains like you’d see out of a tuner, but you won’t be disappointed. The sound difference is huge, and you can really hear the turbos spool up and the blow off valve. Install is easy and straightforward, I completed my entire install in roughly 15 minutes after about 20 minutes of assembly. Worth every penny.

I saw a bump of 2 MPG which is not a lot but it adds up. More responsive when you step on it but be cautious no to over do it or no MPG increase... Overall great product... More MPG great throttle response and sounds great... Install was easy careful switching over the sensor.

It’s awesome, I can feel the different right after I took the test drive when I have the KN air intake on my truck. Better in throttle response, horse power and sound good. So, just buy it, easy installation, the instructions is included in the box. Time to remove the original intake is 5 minutes, and install the KN is from 20 - 30 minutes including reading the instructions.

Awesome intake for the price! It only took me about an hour from start to finish with minimal tools. Everything for perfect and I didn’t run into any problems. The increase in sound is VERY noticeable and I love it. I also can feel a slight increase in acceleration! The ONLY thing I wish they would have done is apply the rubber lining/seal in the factory. It seems like something they could have done during the making. Overall it’s a great buy and I highly recommend!

Awesome intake for 2018 Ford F-150 2.7L Ecoboost! Had k&n drop in filter before and didn’t know how much more power and sound the cold air intake would bring me, boy was I happy after I installed it! The turbos are a lot louder as well as the engine really sounds like a big V-6 or even V-8! Makes your exhaust louder also with the increase of air flow. I have a SCT BullyDog BDX programmer in my truck which added insane amount of power. I didn’t think this would help with even more power but it truly did! Felt like it easily added the additional 20hp/30ft-lb torque as well! I don’t really notice better fuel mileage but I think that’s due to my SCT programmer. But I didn’t buy this for increase of gas mileage, I did for power and better sound. With both programmer and intake I still get around 20 miles per gallon on highway. Awesome intake by K&N, and for people that say it’s made cheaply with plastic piping their stupid. The plastic piping is extremely strong and it’s design is to keep heat down from intake air temps. With metal piping it gets hotter and causes loss of power. It’s design is specially made to use the factory bottom end of intake so you can benifit from the cold air vent on the factory intake. It just sits in and flips to factory box perfectly. Great product worth the $260 dollars which is one of the lesser priced cold air intakes for the F150.

Install was a snap. At first I wasn’t impressed with the sound, but when you get it out in the highway you can really hear this thing move air! It was pretty surprising. I have the 2.7 EcoBoost and even with that little engine you can hear the turbos spool up pretty good, you can even hear them blow off if you build up some boost and let off really fast. As for mileage and horsepower? Meh, I can’t really tell. It doesn’t help that I’m getting to boost more than usual now. Haha. As for power gains, this truck was pretty peppy to begin with but I can definitely confirm it didn’t lose any.

It was easy to install, and it looks great in my 2017 F150 XLT 2.7 ECOBOOST.Didn't notice much change on the sound, minimal. However the increase on the gas pedal is very noticeable. I accelerate quicker and smoother. My truck really moves quick. Just 2 days installed, not enough time to evaluate mileage. But like the box says " guaranteed to add HP it does!

Solid kit, decent intake. Kinda wish it made a little more sucking noises on this ecoboost, but it does feel like I picked up a few hp up top, economy is the same after 4k kms

Was missing parts so not a good start right away. It was just the lower seals so I found foam tape to make it work. But I can’t notice any difference in sound unless you remove the turbo silencers but you can do that with the stock air box and it sounds the same. As for performance hard to say definitely not noticeable but I didn’t expect much in that department. I mainly wanted it for the sound. Biggest waste of money. Should have went with the Injen intake they use the dual tubes for each turbo so you can remove the silencers, so you get that louder turbo sound. I think it creates too much turbulence if you remove them on the k&n single oem copied tube.Used to always buy k&n for all my vehicles this will be the last one. Do yourself a favour and stay away from this one.
