Was skeptical at first when choosing this oil filter but no local parts store had it in stock. I ordered this filter for less than 1/3 the cost of what local stores quoted and it arrived at approximately the same time.Quality and fit were very good. Installation went smoothly without issue.

I did a the annual oil change on my 981 Boxster S and this filter seemed to fit the cannister just like the typical European OEM ones. I note that it's made in Korea and that's a major advantage over the Chinese equivalent and on par with those make in eastern Europe. I have never bought into the K&N air filter systems, but their oil filters are competively priced and fine.

Great construction, and solid value. Between Euro 0w40 Mobil 1 at Costco (great deal by the case) and this filter I can do my own oil changes for $60-70 versus my dealer wanting $475...easy peasy!

Product does not include drain plug gasket as shown in image. Partially my fault for not taking a closer look at the product description, but the product image showed a drain plug gasket, so I assumed the gasket was included. By the time I realized, I was under my car and had just finished draining my old oil. The image is misleading and I hope K&N decides to change it.

Haven't installed the filter so don't know the performance however the picture shows a crush washer included with the filter. Not. I did not receive a crush washer in either of the filters I ordered. Misleading and time consuming.
