I always only get these filters they are so easy to change cause the nut on the end and i had over 4k miles on one and my oil wasnt as dark as i thought it would be I used napa and fram filters and these K&N ones exceed them by far and fram easy grab ones arent that easy to grab after they get oil on them napa filters are junk had dark oil within a month after install fram is a little better with about 4 months and the K&N is still doing its job over the long winter we have in AK about 6 months would reccomend to anyone cause easy change and great quality

So I have tried the WIX, Bosch, Napa gold (wix also), frams, STP, you name it and none seemed to have a decent anti-drainback valve. With those filters, after the car has sat for even a day, most of the oil would drain out, and then you would have a dry start while it re-pumped/primed the filter once starting.With these KN filters, it dosent matter if it sits 1 day or 1 week, oil light goes out half a second after car is started, compared to 2-3 seconds on the other brands of filters. The anti-drainback valve is the best I have found, and have tried almost all other after market filters, none compares with this one far as anti-drainback goes. The anti-drain back valve is important to me, driving a nissan that uses a timing chain, that requires pressure for the tensioner to work. No more chain rattle on start up with this filter, and rattles with all others I have tried. And no timing chain does not need replacing, just did it :)

High performance filter that flows great and looks great. Not a cheap filter but for a fully built motor not going to skimp on the oil filter. This does the job and having a nut on the end is convenient for twisting it off.

This is used on a D21 Nissan extended cab 4x4 truck with a lightly modified V6 3.0 + engine.It is used with Mobil One 5w-20 synthetic engine oil that is changed every 4000 miles due to heavy driving with a trailer.The engine is run consistently at 600 -700 miles straight at approximately 65 mph on a regular basis going to art shows.The bolt's sides (on top of the filter) are sloped so a standard socket wrench does not securely fit. And because of the height of the nut, you cannot use a standard oil filter attachment for your ratchets.You pretty much have to use an adjustable wrench. And deal with bruised knuckles.Having said that, it is a quality filter and I use them in addition to the K&N reusable air filters.The Mobil One extended oil filter is comparable in price and much easier to put on.When the K&N filters are unavailable - which is frequent - I use the Mobil One filters.These are the only filters used on this truck.

This is the absolute perfect oil filter for my Nissan 300zx Twin Turbo. The wrench off feature is absolutely perfect. A top quality filter never any problems I've used this exclusively on my high maintenance Z and it never fails.

This oil filter has an integral nut that allows use of a box wrench or socket for removal and installation. This is invaluable for hard to reach locations. Price is great on Amazon as well.

This filter is appears well made and the wrench fitting makes installation a snap. The vehicle oil indicator light disappears almost immediately on engine ignition as opposed to 3-4 seconds with Bosch (Probably a better anti drain back valve). Also it's made in the USA, a plus in my book.I would recommend this and almost any K&N product, they are all excellent!

If you're looking for the best in the market, this is it. And at $9 (compared to $13 at auto parts stores), this is also a great deal! I unfortunately have to look for a cheaper filter since my car is getting older. I've gone for a Bosch 3400 filter for $6 instead at my parts store's online website.

Fit car awsome product, Will do business again. Paid for 1-3 day shipping however took 5 business days other then that great product brand new in box
