I have been running with K & N and they are good quality and use K & N in all my vehicles. I use this in my 2011 Camaro. I highly recommend them.

Seems like a high quality product. Although I have no practical way of measuring the flow rate or filtering ability. I was a little disappointed that there was a tiny bit of rust on the metal parts. Although this is more a matter of storage conditions that the quality of the filter.

I ordered two of these for my 2007 Saab 9-3 Aero (2.8 V6). I expected better from K&N. These are the exact same filter as AC Delco. If you have an Advance Auto Parts (or other auto parts store) near you that carries both brands, check them out and see for yourself. The quality of the media is poor compared to the OEM Mann/Hengst filters for my car. The media was discolored with what appears to be black spray paint. There was also an excessive amount of sloppily applied glue down the seam.On the plus side, I like that they're made in the USA.

K & N has actually stopped making this "gold" filter. I didn't notice any improvement between this one and the normal K & N filter myself. They make great air filters, so I figure they know what they are doing. I only use K & N brand oil filters in my car and motorcycle and have never had a problem!
