K&N are the makers of some of the best high performance filters on the market. Their air filter is one of the most popular ever. Although most of their parts are more expensive, they are MUCH higher quality and performance. I recommend all K&N's products regardless of category. The air filters give a VERY noticeable power boost with the capability of washing and never replacing. The oil filter is hard steel with strong burst resistance and synthetic interior to trap more particles. The valve in the filter ensures that the car has oil even in first starting it. Only Mobil One Extended Performance oil filters are a match. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The filter is excellent. I have been using K&N for some time now and am very pleased with the product. The product is 5 star. Amazon delivered the filter in a plastic bag. The filter box was destroyed in shipping. Filter appears to be okay, but this was not the way to deliver this type of product. Amazon, please go back to using boxes for delivery of non-flat products.

K&N Oil filter--bottom line--K&N: Great Quality and PerformanceI use with with Castol GTX full synthetic 10W-30 and change oil every 6,000 miles. Highly Recommended with any synthetic oil(Royal Purple as well), and any high quality motor oil.I also use a K&N Sport Cold Air Intake and cone filter, best quality and increased performance for my camaro. Bonus feature is the external nut making it ultra easy to remove(don't need a special oil filter wrench to remove).

I've been using K&N filters for years, and have not had one lubrication related problem since doing so. Years ago, I had problems with oil flow and cold starting, to the point where there were valve and cam issues. No problem since then. These are worth the extra money. I buy these and take them along to wherever the oil change is done. I've even had some places refuse to use a filter I supplied (Michel's Tire's Plus), so I stopped going there. Now, they will accept your filter only if you have a receipt from O'Reilly's. Anyway, switch to these filters!
