GREAT IDEA - GREAT FILTER! To bad I did not come up with this idea to have a nut on the end of the filter. I remember back in the 90's taking a 2 foot heavy duty screw driver and running it through an oil filter to finally get it off. What I am most impressed about this filter, besides the nut on the end, is how well it does its job. I use full synthetic oil. The oil drained from the oil pan was slightly discolored. The oil drained from the filter was BLACK. I now have done a few oil changes to my Lincoln LS V8 with this filter. I have no plans on using another brand of oil filters. EVER!

Have been using these on my RRS, LR3, TDI300 Defender and XKR with the 4.2 engine for 10 plus years. Strong and reliable filters, love the 1" welded on nut for removal and installation. Price is great at under a tenner each.Only gripe is shipping which hammers the heck out of the boxes which makes storage in the shop challenging.

Filters are pretty much mandane... the reasons I chose K&N are the price and the "nut" at the end. The latter makes removal and installation so much easier... makes you wonder why the other filter makes don't do likewise. Duh!

It was hard finding this product for my 2009 jaguar xf. But the fit is good, I always by k&n. You can't beat it!

In Middle East for some strange reason these consumables are extremely expensive with the excuse that they are OEM products. Nevertheless this filter is better than the original Land Rover since it comes with the K&N signature for race quality.More over it is a way less expensive and this is what makes it best value for money. I got two of these K&N filters for almost half the price of one original from Land Rover.

Keine Ahnung, wie gut die Filtrationsleistung ist, aber die Idee eine Sechskant aufs Gehäuse zu schweißen um das lästige rumgefummelt beim abschrauben zu erleichtern ist doch genial. Wird allerdings auch genug Leute ‚ermutigen‘, den Filter damit anzuziehen. Autsch.

Another quality K&N product, I already have K&N air filter and it was oil change time again so off came my old K&N oil filter and straight on with a new one, when the fuel filter is due for replacement that'll be getting changed to a.K&N as well on my 4.2 litre Jaguar XJ
