Formerly the larger sections of these 2-part assemblies were made of steel and over time the moisture in the room as well as direct moisture over time rusted them through. The newer version is made of plastic (probably nylon) and looks to be able to last a long time, making only the screws the parts that will decay (they didn't in the original, however). Because these have just been installed and haven't had years of use to be sure, they get a 4. Ask me in several years whether it climbs to a score of 5.

Fit my toilet perfectly. Once I figured out best to install by screwdriver. It was easy. The hard was getting under the toilet. Price was good.
