Well, like others, noticed a running hissing/water sound. Was like damn, now I have to call a plumber. Googled, ended up on YouTube and found my model number and saw just how easy it was to replace. Took maybe 5 minutes and that was watching the video a few times and trying to get the cap off. But once done, I replaced the part and everything is working great. I looked at the old one, it looks the same, but I guess somewhere it is warped and maybe I just couldn't tell. But right now, problem solved. Been a few weeks now since I did it and zero problems.

I think there is a Flowmaster equivalent that is lower in cost. I tried it once and it failed, so I contacted Kohler. They sent me this part. When a second toilet failed, I ordered this and it fixed the problem completely. I recommend it.

The part fit perfectly no trouble in the installing of the part. Only trouble is it did not stop the noise the toilet was making.

My toilet wasn't refilling unless I jiggled the mechanism. The old diaphragm had taken a bit of permanent set to it.I replaced it with this one since I saw reviews saying the cheaper knockoffs wouldn't work reliably.Everything works well now - toilet refills great.

Yeah.. these things fit. But even though the sealing surfaces are all free of defects, we still have a leak. Its all poorly made plastic.Solved the issue by installing a Korky valve unit, it fills faster and was Made in the USA instead of China, and purchased locally so I know it will be what it says it is, as Amazon cant be trusted these days.

Bought these when my Kohler Toilet stopped refilling the tank. Swapped this out and it worked like new. Bought a few more as spares.
