This is a replacement for the aerator for a Moen faucet and does the job. My old one was plugged up from some plumbing work we had done so tried to wash the old one, but that did not work out. Bought this one and it is what I needed. Just seemed a little costly.

My faucet was not putting out enough water. Realized it was the screen on the aerator. Now it's great.

This fixed my problem with the faucet. It would be nice if the manufacturer would include a new rubber washer with the airator.

requires a rubber piece to make it not leak. it fits on one side to prevent a drip.

Moen appears to provide detailed parts diagrams online, but the most detailed information I could find showed the entire $70 handle unit part, and mo mention of this replaceable part. Shame on Moen.Anyway, after careful examination and watching plenty of online video this part is working great for me. Getting the “face†of the sprayer off is the most difficult step (it unscrews normally but it’s hard to hold onto).
