If you are looking for a quick release clamp that will easily open under pressure when you want it to and yet give you piece of mind that it will hold the weight until you are ready to release it, then look no further because this thing works very well. I am a climber, but I didn’t buy this with climbing in mind.I inherited an Australian Cattle Dog that had a lot of energy, but never had an active life before me. I wanted him to run off all that energy outside and not inside chasing my cats!I’m not much of a runner, but I can Mt. Bike in any season. So I attach this quick release to my dogs leash & vest and if I need to we can separate quickly in an emergency.

Used as a keychain to clip to a fanny pack. Saves 3-5 seconds fiddling with a normal carabiner and when you take your keys on and off all the time that adds up. No more snagging carabiner and awkward hand motions to release my keys. clips like a bullet. straight on. straight off.

I purchased this to use with a dog leash the pin holding the nylon web required a drill to remove but that was expected its worked well for me.

Excellent craftsmanship. Strong and durable.Due to its weight and size, I found it wasn’t suitable for what I had intended to use it for; however that is far from what it was originally designed for :/

I use this in the film and tv world, when I need to attach a camera to an easy rig... with the help of 3/8 or 1/4 inch eye screws I just clip on and off with no hassle and it works perfectly every time
