I am somebody who plays multiple instruments as a hobby, strings keyboards and woodwinds and a bit of percussion, and I have to say this little digi-sax has thoroughly blown me away. The breath response is quite good and the fingerings are intuitive. The half step keys are a game changer. If you’re interested and on the fence about this product, bite the bullet and get one. I love this thing. The speaker impressed me and the sounds are quite charming through the speaker or through headphones. (Perhaps an acquired taste, they’re synthesized sounds for certain, but I enjoy them.) You can feel the instrument vibrating with the notes in speaker mode, reminiscent of the real instrument. 100% recommending for anyone interested in an affordable bare bones ewi.

Very cute concept and original instrument. Liked the variety of options it offers, the beautiful sounds it makes and the fact that you can begin to produce sounds immediately with nearly no effort at all. There are some issues with 2 of the bottom notes that it doesn't always produce which I haven't figured out yet.

I am a retired music teacher. I tested most of the features and they work. It was not easy to keep my hands and fingers in the best position so I made a couple of modifications. In the photo you will see I added a thumb "hook" for the right hand which helps to hold it and allows me to play notes quicker. The blue tape helps to locate my left thumb. I also added self-stick buttons on the keys to make them easier to find. There is too much delay with Bluetooth so it is useless. I tested it with an accurate tuner and it plays in tune. Midi works with a sound module and with midi software. The ten sounds are not realistic but they are not offensive. I like the flute sound the best. A breath vibrato is easy to achieve as is the control of loud and soft dynamics. There is no pitch bend. The speaker is ok but the sound improves when used with an external amplifier. I do not have a high end device to compare it to but for the money it is good. As someone else mentioned, the “save†button to save settings is not indicated anywhere. It would be handy to have.

Sound like a toy for starters, the value matches that.

I've been having fun learning this new instrument. Easier than expected and the range of tones is remarkable.

I bought this Electronic Wind Instrument plus the book “it’s recorder time.†The fingerings on the tiny slip of paper that came with the instrument use the European names for the notes. It wasn’t hard to translate most of it although the number next to the European names still confuses me. I think I figured out that the lowest note is G and it goes up to F. The fingerings on this slip of paper were nothing like shown in the book. I penciled in my best guess, in case I’m completely wrong, and can now play a few ultra simple songs.I love being able to use headphones plus not being tethered to my phone or a PC. Tone 10 is recorder and is the only one I use for now.I did add a small 3M hook on the back to support my right thumb.I’ll be watching a lot of Sarah Jeffers YouTube videos now.
