The in-ear metronome is a unique style of metronome that you use by wearing it directly in your ear. Since the speaker unit fits directly in your ear, it's useful not only for personal practice with any instrument, but also when you want to hear an accurate rhythm without being drowned out by the sounds of your surroundings, such as if you are practicing while surrounded by high-volume instruments. The Tempo setting range is a generous 30--252 BPM, and a wide variety of beats and rhythms are provided. In spite of its ultra-small sized body, the in-ear metronome provides approximately 200 hours of continuous operation using a coin-type Lithium battery. The in-ear metronome also includes a well-cushioned ear pad and a carrying case that neatly stores The in-ear metronome.

Immediately intuitive, just pop the battery in and get down to business. Two things that could be improved:---> The noise levels. You have two volume options: kinda loud and REALLY LOUD. (As others have noted, this may be mitigated with some tape or other material over the speaker, to "muffle" it.)---> The noise itself. It would be nice to hear a click or hi-hat instead of beeps. I subconsciously want to play my guitar in the key of the beeps!Overall, though, I can work with it. Simplicity is the strong point of this little device. I wanted something totally cordless to help me stay in rhythm, and it has filled that role. I don't like things that require too much setup. It's super easy to turn on the device, change the tempo (minimum 30 BPM, maximum 252), change modes and patterns (fourth, eighth, sixteenth beat, etc.) AND it stays clipped to my ear pretty well. Not as full featured as a metronome app, but not as cumbersome either.

This metronome has a lot of features and functions but it does not fit well in the ear. Additionally, even on the loudest setting, I can’t hear it while playing. It may work better for other instruments, but not the best for drummers.

This is a well-thought-out, well-illustrated quality product. In spite of that, the picture doesn't show that there is a dedicated battery slot in the case so it's out of the unit when you store it. The display is very small as required by the design, so I really need to have my spectacles on. I have a very elaborate metronome from Korg for music. However, I needed one for photography to time long exposures. When you have multi-second or multi-minute exposures, keeping the shutter on B[ulb] or T[ime], you need a way to accurately count the seconds. The longer the exposure time, the greater the potential mistiming. The metronome keeps you on the beat for accurate exposure times. I had another cheap pocket metronome before for this purpose, but I misplaced it. It had served its purpose for many years. I needed another low priced product that is just simple to use and only at the 120 beats per minute tempo. The pocket metronome, even though loud enough, was sometimes difficult to hear when around waterfalls. This Korg ear metronome solves that issue wonderfully, as it projects the sound right into your ear. Well done!

Won’t stay in place. Supposed to hook underneath but I have earrings and that doesn’t work. Also the pad is so loose it won’t stay on. It’s old fashion thin foam. Lost it’s shape immediately.

I use it to keep my cadence steady when I am biking. My efficiency is best around a cadence of 63.

I purchased this hoping to use it to be able to practice quietly while others are around. Unfortunately it's almost as loud to other people in the room as it is to the wearer... pretty much making it useless imo. I'll be returning it. And as others have mentioned it's a terrible fit and just wants to fall out of your ear... strange really because these days even junk dollar store headphones fit well, so I'm not sure what the designers of this device at Korg were thinking.
