I use these filters for fume control while 3d printing and laser engraving. They perform very well and manage to catch VOC's and smoke from the different processes I use them in. They are not expensive and are easy to replace when they reach the end of their usefulness.

It fit the unit perfectly after removing the stock filter and cardboard shelf. They included a cloth tab for easy removal with future change. Two filters come in the package

I've found I can catch most of the soot before the smoke goes out the window by using some blue fluffy air filter material, such as this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0195KQEGE/. I wouldn't recommend using that in an application where someone would breathe the smoke.

I have no real way of testing if it's working but I think it is because there's some dust in the filter and I don't smell the fumes

After using these to try and contain smoke from my laser etcher I found the room still filled with fumes from what I was marking. It did catch some of the soot from the process but about only as well as a mid grade house filter. it might work better for some of the small soldering jobs I have coming up.

With the HEPA filter on, the suction power is too low.

This works well as filter replacement for helping with the soldering and with any type of dust in the air or steam (in my case) I use it at work and it's very nice filter that fits just as it should.

Appeared to be nothing but carbon filter. Opening package and removing items showed hepa filters were put facing together with carbon filters exposed.
