I am new to routers, when I was looking to buy one I was amazed at the price of some of the individual routers. This set gives an amazing value. All of the bits were 1/2 inch shanks—which are best (according to many YouTube videos I watched) because the dissipate heat. A set like this was extremely helpful because I wasn’t sure exactly which one I needed. I have used several on scrap wood which helped me determine which one I actually needed. So far I have used 4 different bits on a couple of projects and couldn’t be happier.

So this is a fairly affordable beginner set of bits. Who is this set for? I think this set is ideal for someone starting out, learning tools and a trade. You wouldn’t be extending yourself too much on a set of bits that not only will address common routing uses but also assist in determining what bits you will use the most. This will help you zero in on what bits you might upgrade in the future. My set arrived in great shape and I believe the quality is ok especially for soft woods. I have made some very nice cuts with these but I needed to make a lot of test cuts in order to fine my tool to the bit.Give this a try but do not expect long life and top quality. If you want that, you’ll spend the same amount as you did for this kit on a single bit.

This set is really nice, I had one similar in the past but this one, the bits are much "beefier" if that makes sense. Each bit is heavier than they look. The first few I tried worked perfectly, looking forward to finding uses for the rest of the bits in this set!

For the price and value well worth the purchase replaced two old bits with new Kowood bits and added several I didn’t have with 1/4 shank. I do have 1/2 shank bits but the ease of use of the palm router with 1/4 shank bits is easer, been one with the wood, (KOWOOD) 😉

I shopped around like everyone does and overall excluding a rabbeting bit which I wasn't expecting in a set at this price point anyway, was a very good buy. I was pleased at how well and smooth the bits edged and cut both MDF and Birch with ease.Will defiantly buy from them again.
