We did need to buy a $6 red/white/aux RCA audio cord at Best Buy to hook up the speakers to my son’s laptop so he can use his DJ mixing board. We did this instead of buying a $100 amp interface. Reviews read that the sound is better with interface but the speakers are plenty loud without it and using the cord. He put red cord in one speaker and white in the other! Directions didn’t specify we just played around until it worked. Videos show hooking up to interface. Sorry not the best pic of him mixing on patio.

These went down in price and I swooped on them. I prefer the classic that made the brand in the first place than the newer products, I feel you lose quality in the newer built product with Bluetooth. They have tremendous quality for studio monitors and they are made for producer not the average listening consumers. These can also compete with Yamaha HS5 in mastering musics projects but also have its own unique aspect that differentiates the two. If you want bass I suggest complementing these monitors with the KRK subwoofer and Mackie pro studio big nob to get everything organized and perfect. I use these in my home studio, and have it connected to Mackie Big Nob pro studio and use Logic Pro X when producing and they work perfect for getting PERFECT EQ VARIATIONS in my projects. I use KRK HEADPHONE for mastering but like I said for variations in mastering my projects on something louder is the MAIN REASON I bough them. When I finish mastering my projects, I use my pioneer DJ DM40 to listen to it and the EQs are on point on the average low grade monitors that most people have. BUY THEM IF YOU GET A GOOD PRICE AND KNOW WHAT THE PURPOSE YOU’RE BUYING THEM FOR.Ps buy foam pad spacers!

These 5†KRK monitors are best in class, hands down! I’ve owned many different brands and sizes and these are much better and somewhat cheaper than others in the same size. They are FLAT and the separation in sound is nothing less than magic. Sound quality will blow your mind!!! They shipped with cables (XLR/XLR) which is useless on most audio interfaces, but I picked up the correct ones locally. I don’t understand why they would have bundled these cables, but whatever. The monitors arrived ahead of schedule and in perfect condition.

There was a promotional item that was missing from the order and the seller was prompt and professional with shipping the missing items. The monitors work very well, as intended. I use them with my Television instead of a sound bar. If you want the best possible sound for you money go with any of the KRK monitors.You won't be disappointed. :)Again, a big thanks to the seller for their professional service!!!

Now I can make educated equalization decisions for my recordings, without the ear damage of headphones. Being about to hear a true reproduction of my guitar's (or piano or percussion) sound, as well as one particular instrument's balance in the mix is now possible with the KRK speakers; PLUS I didn't want to be wearing headphones for prolonged cumulative hours, wearing out my sense of hearing along the way. I can really hear the range of tones of each instrument easily now.

I needed quality at a good price and that's what I received, no complaints of note. The bass is good for the speaker size, but don't expect and 808.

These are very nice and the price was t bad for the value. I did however which the were inter connected and used one central volume control. But if you are using a mixer board you are good.
