This item arrived before the expected time and intact though not because the USPS didn't try to mangle the package. Packaging for this small, narrow, flimsy item could have been much better. It came in a large padded envelope that begged the delivery person to jam it in my small mailbox. That said, I was able to straighten out the brass for use in my project.

Item totally destroyed by bending to fit into a packet that was too small to fit. Unusable !!!!!Thought Amazon would know how to package goods by now, without destroying them.

I can't tell you if the brass strip was good bad or indifferent because the package I received was EMPTY.

I have used some of the strip already. It is capable of tight forms when needed. I am pleased with it thus far.
