So far so good, I was able to install this on my ezgo RXV in about 5 minutes. I did have to change the wire connectors to match where I needed to plug them in and all is good. I originally purchased a headlight/brake light kit for my cart and I did not like the brake pad switch that came with the kit. It was a large black pad that you are suppose to screw to the brake pedal so that when you step of the brake pedal the pressure activated the switch. I wanted more of a seamless integration but wanted the brake lights to work still. I ran across this switch and thought I would give it a shot. Installed in less than 5 minutes after changing the connectors, works great and this was able to be mounted under the floor, at the base of the pedal so that nothing is visible once the floor in reinstalled.

Turning this Yamaha TT-R 230 into street legal bike. Needed a way to when I press my rear brake with my right foot, my back tail light comes on. I am making 4 different types of electric bike right now. and I have to make my own lighting harness, lights and everything else. So this was the easy, and simple fix for that problem. Whats a few more wires at this point!A little touchy, it works with very little pressure on brake.

Pretty easy install on a Honda CRF230 and worked fine for about 5 rides then suddenly all bike's electrics out - main fuse blown. I changed the fuse and the bike ran fine for a few hours then blew that fuse - new-fuse then 'rinse & repeat' thru' about 5 fuses before I realised thru disconnecting all the Dual Sport components 1 by 1 that this switch had an intermittent short and was the culprit :(

Changing from 5 to 4 stars. The mechanism needs to be better libricated. It’s been very sticky and functioning that well. I’ve used white lithium grease so let’s see how it works out.—————My car has the Ecm controlling the brake lights. After becoming defective, it left the brake lights permanently on. I had a choice of replacing the computer and then figure out how to have it programmed or bypassing the brake lights manually using this switch. This product has saved me huge headaches and large amounts aid money.

The first one I received worked splendidly till I attached it to high up on the brake arm and broke it. I ordered a second one and received K&S 12-0101 instead and can't do anything with it and it's not returnable or exchangeable.

One of the wires in the switch pulled out of the connector. I fixed it but it seems pretty cheaply made.

Installed three different $24.00 factory replacement switches that didn't work once installed before finding this switch on Amazon. The switch is simple to wire and although designed for motorcycles, it worked perfectly for a brake pedal adaptation on my older Ford RV Conversion van. I am using diode tail/stop lights so this low amperage switch is fine. Seller shipped promptly.. Finally, I have stoplights on my van that do not stick in the ON position while driving!. Very happy with product.
