I had to return this as the case did not fit my instrument, even though I carefully checked the measurements. They honored a return and provided me with a refund so all is well. The instrument has an odd shape, which the case couldn't accommodate. However, the padding in the case was thick and the latches sturdy. I've bought more expensive cases that were not as nice. This is a chip board case so it won't have the water resistance of an ABS case but the coating was thick and I doubt a little rain would hurt it at all. The case is a great value for the price. I will keep this brand in mind if I find I need a case for a different instrument.

First, I got this hoping it would fit my mandola, and it doesn't. It fits my Rover RM-75 perfectly (f-style), though, and I'm very pleased with the quality of this case (my box is marked "Glarry" company). I won't mention the price I paid because prices change, but I thought the case I got was a heck of a bargain at the price I paid. NICE case, great price! 100% satisfaction!

I recently bought a cheap entry level Rogue RM100A mandolin for $60 from Musicians Friend and the Musicians Gear mando case they sell had many reviews saying the top doesn't shut well with this mando, plus at $80 it was considerably more costly than the instrument itself. Decided to give this one a try since it's cheaper (paid $56.99) and more roomy. Decided to get the F style because it's the same price but has an arched top, can fit both A and F, and if I ever upgrade to F style in future I can reuse this case.For the case itself (ordered April 2024), I don't know what "Ktaxon" brand is, but I received a "Glarry Instruments" case. Box said manufactured 01/2024, SKU G666-17003202 made in CHINA. The case is pretty good quality. The outside was a bit dirty and vinyl wrap isn't glued down very well along the bottom edge but not likely an issue. Inside had some small debris that I vacuumed out otherwise good. Has a small compartment under neck for storing things. This case is very roomy. With my Rogue there's room for it to move length wise (headstock to tail) and at least and inch on both sides of lower bout and also maybe an half an inch between bridge and top of case so it can pretty much move around in all directions so not ideal for my mando but it's padded well so won't get damaged. I bought the case more for protection and storage when not playing so is fine for my purposes but if you have an A style and don't think you'll ever upgrade to an F, stick with the A style case, it's likely a much better fit.

Good case , nothing fancy, but is keeps instrument safe. The pocket inside holds capo, picks and string cleaner. case is worth the price.

This case holds the mandolin firmly to keep movement ar a minimum. It is sturdy and appears well made, matches the description to protect the instrument. The case arrived on time and well protected from shipping damage.

This is a really nice case. Solid, everything fits together, perfect fit for my TheLoar mandolin. And the price is right. HOWEVER only three stars because the interior stinks (admittedly not uncommon with Chinese cases). It has been sitting open on my porch for more than a week, and only now am I permitted to bring it into the house by my wife. Fortunately my sense of smell is much less sensitive than hers, so I don’t gag when I open the case.
