Our little rescue mutt can't swim to save his soul. Does he like the life jacket? No. Does he like much of anything about the water? Also no. Does this keep him afloat? Absolutely! We also appreciate how adjustable it is. The earlier one we got him slipped around a lot and this one is a lot better at staying in place and fitting snugly. Recommend!

It looked enormous, but it fit. I went with a medium after much consideration because Charlie was slightly between sizes. He's a portly 26 lb. cavalier. I still wonder if he could have been more comfortable in the small, but it does seem to fit. Have not been in the water yet. If his body pops out through the neck i'll update. This was the main reason i chose the bib type as opposed to the strap across the chest. One thing I did not like was a missing slip ring on the strap over the shoulder. The critical tightening ring was there so I was able to adjust it. Just kind of sloppy with a lot of strapping flopping around. Seems sturdy and thoughtfully built otherwise. I like it, but not sure he does. Lol. He can walk, sit and jump in it so that's a good sign.

I took my Frenchie Wednesday “Winnie†on a hike to a waterfall and she wore the life jacket the entire time. She went swimming and handled herself better than I could have expected.The thing I love the most about the life jacket is the handle on the back. She is a smaller Frenchie (18 pounds) so I was able to use the handle to lift her up and carry her over rough terrain when necessary. The jacket comes highly recommended. I love it and so does Winnie.

Size chart is totally inaccurate. I use the measurements from my dog and looked at the size chart and the jacket. It recommended was way too large.Now I’m stuck with a jacket that I can’t use and unfortunately I missed the Amazon return window by one day so I am stuck with it

This life jacket is perfect for our mini golden doodle who loves to swim! It goes on and off really easily and the handle is great to pull him out of the water. 10/10 would recommend!

I purchased this life jacket for my 80lb American Staffy who can't swim well. I had another brand that does up like a regular dog life jacket but the Velcro kept coming undone at her chest . I bought this life jacket because it does up like a harness ( in the pictures) when the life jacket arrived it was not a harness style as in the pictures and description it was the same as her previous one that does up across the chest. I can say after trying it on the Velcro that does up around her stomach is fantastic but the product did not meet the pictures or description . I will be returning the life jacket and trying to find another that is a harness style

The chest and stomach area of this life vest can be adjusted to a large range of sizes. It is the only life vest I've tried that fits my doberman's large chest and small waist area. The neck area can also be tightened up a good bit to fit my dog's smaller neck.I definitely recommend this life vest for dobermans and other dogs with a high tuck up that normal life vests don't accommodate. My dog's chest is 34" and the XXL fits him great.
