Installation Instructions
- The only items you'll need for your installation should be window cleaner and a clean cloth.
- Thoroughly clean the area where it will be applied. We recommend using a cleaner that will not leave any residue. A glass cleaner used with a clean cloth or scotch-bright pad works well. Make sure the area is completely dry before applying the pad.
- If there is any glue, grease, adhesive, or other substances on the area that the pads are to be applied, mineral spirits followed by acetone may be used to remove them. Be sure to use a glass cleaner afterward as suggested above. Again the platform surface must be completely dry before applying the pad.
- If pads are being applied to a new boat it is very important that all mold release is thoroughly removed from the boat surface.

Stuck down to resin coated plywood very well! Matched the color of their EVA foam great too! The scale also is accurate enough. Measured with a tape measure and everything lined up. Makes it very, very easy to measure fish now! No more messing with a flexible tape measure and trying to get the fish to line up with it nicely. Easy to lay the fish on and read the measurement.Kinda wish the numbers marked different points. I get it marks quarter's of the ruler, but a few more numbers marking more sensible locations like every 6 inches for a foot, or every 10 inches, or every 5 inches would have been nice.

This product was much better than expected and was applied easily. It really sticks, so measure and place it carefully. It did arrive rolled up in a small box, so to flatten it out, I placed it between my mattress and box spring! Funny, I know, but I recently moved and no longer had any heavy books to place on it. I weigh 180 and it was flattened out in two days!

To give some positives, nice adhesive backing and foam quality.The negative, product wasn't even close to accurate. After applying and being very happy with the look I realized it didn't pass the eye test. Went to grab a tape measure and sure enough, the further you go down the ruler the further it's off. The 40" Mark was off by over a full inch.Useless for determining legal size on your catch.
