Purchased to use for weighing the horse's hay. Like that it's metal and doesn't require a battery. It has a little marker that is moved to indicate the weight. When you take the weight off, the indicator goes back to the top and the marker remains in place. That's probably more handy for weighing fish than hay nets. I find it hard to read because the color is a light blue and the markings are etched in the metal so they are silver. Again, probably works great if you're out fishing, or have a well lit hay room. My guess though is this one will last longer than the last scale.

So I needed a manual scale to weigh turkeys (live) the digital ones would freeze up if they fought. Now if they fight I can just reset it when they clam down without needing to remove anything. The hook is rounded off not as dangerous as it looks

Good product works well easy to use Just not sure how to calibrate it from the start to the correct zero set point.

I got this to fix my solid axle toyota rock truck. It's big numbers and red slide scale was easy to see and read. Old eyes need big letters and numbers to see. It saved the day and I was able to get pre load right.
