Not much of a description is given for this kind of stuff. I wasn't looking for anything overly thick or sturdy - just something that would not tear if you touched it wrong. I used this as backing for simulated candles in a Japanese style, accordion divider. Looks great and is sturdy enough for my purpose.

The material on my 6' tall room divider had developed multiple cat-induced rips and tears over the years. I decided to buy traditional rice paper to replace whatever fabric had been used by the manufacturer. This paper has a beautiful look and is the perfect thickness. The roll arrived well wrapped and packaged. There was a very slight indentation about 4â€-5" from one end of the roll, but it only seemed to affect the first layer/wrap and wasn’t an issue for me at all. Now I have a lifetime supply for future patches and replacements.

The KYMY Chinese/Japanese calligraphy paper is on a roll. I am just starting out in Chinese Brush painting and wanted to get a feel for this type of paper verses the regular individual sheets of 9 1/2 x 13 rice paper. KYMY besides being on a roll is a bit thicker and of course needs to be cut. Whereas, the 9 1/2 x 13 rice paper is a bit thinner. I have not used the KYMY paper as of yet, but I truly like the feel of it and can’t wait to use it. Very happy with my purchase!

This Rice paper is great for printing and using for decoupage on my crafts. I usually print a picture on it, then decoupage the picture to different applications. It is easy to cut, and it feeds through the printer very easily. The print quality is great as well. And the rolls seem to last forever, there is a lot, a whole lot on each roll. Shipping was fast and item was as described.

Very nice quality, right thickness, absorbent and perfect for ink painting. I tried other so called "raw" paper available in bulk (200, 400 sheets) which is very thin, rips easily. This paper is so much superior.
