Relative to other fiberglass, this is a solid rod that is relatively thin (1/2") and lightweight for it's length. It has some flex (around 30 degrees for a length of 84" if I force it) but it springs back and is otherwise very strong and durable. A bit too expensive for gardening or anything like that, but for engineering where you want something lightweight with some flexibility, this is the best I could find.

This would have been a five star but I'm still chocking on the price. I paid because I needed it and couldn't find an alternative so maybe that's what drives the price. Great rigidity and strength, cuts clean and smooth with no fiber frays,

Product was very sturdy, very well manufactured, and exactly what they advertised. I returned because I did not see that it was 12 inchec, and thought it was 12 feet, which is what I needed. They accepted the return without question.

Ok I got this for my daughters soccer net we broke 1 of the polls I set it up in garage seems to of worked
