I purchased this for my 9 year old daughter's science project so we could look at microscopic life in pond and lake water. I first purchased a cheaper microscope at the third of the price of this microscope. I was hoping that the cell phone adapter would allow for us to review the slides together, however the cell phone adapter included with the cheap microscope was simply unusable. I looked for a better solution, and this seemed like a good solution with the LCD screen and the ability to connect to a computer to take pictures and videos. It works quite well, and having the adjustable stage is very useful. I contacted the company as instructed to get the computer software, and they quickly responded with instructions on using VLC media player, which was convenient as I already had it on my computer. A minor nitpick is that with the included accessories, only the LCD screen or the computer can be hooked up. Unfortunately the computer is a little laggy, and therefore it is difficult to use as a primary screen. It was an easy fix by simply ordering an analog video splitter, which is pretty cheap. It would have been nice if it was included in the package. All in all, I do recommend and I would purchase again.

This product arrived in pristine condition. I have used it at multiple events and have found that both students and instructors are very interested in viewing slides and learning more about science. Definitely would recommend the microscope to others.

I liked the fact is is heavy and metal for durability and stability during use. The included screen is more than adequate for a small group. The ability to project it onto a large screen is great for an average sized classroom. The case is adequate for transport except as noted below. Good color balance as well. Just a couple negatives. I would prefer all the included accessories actually has spots in the case instead of having the monitor arm and transformer just kind of hangout in there. The wiring is slightly confusing since the ports are not well labeled and the cables aren't labeled at all. All in all, a nice piece of equipment for the money.

I normally don’t wrote reviews, just had to on this great scope. Not only does it have a 7 inch viewing screen, but once you hook to pc ( and in my case run pc to tv). Picts are so easy to view. You can take picts and or Viedos as well. At first I could not get this hooked up no matter what I did. I emailed support and promptly they reached out with solutions. I am not get with tech so I must have emailed at least a dozen times with questions and never once did they get sick of me. I don’t know what I am looking at but fu. Fun fun. I got this to enhance my young living business to show before and after picts. It’s doing the job. Even my hubby is getting interested. Thanks for the awesome support

there are scratches or bumps and what looks like particulates embedded in the main optic that interfere with what you are trying to magnify, otherwise it works with the video screen and everything else.

The quality of the monitor is just ok. The worst part about the monitor is the loud beeping sounds it make whenever you touch the monitor arrows at the bottom of the screen. No way to adjust the sound.and if the monitor goes out you will have to order the same monitor. I try to upgrade to a different monitor. The new will not work at all.
