This jack looked more useful than it really is. It is too small on its base and life arm for much use. Anything big will fall off the jacks or roll the jacks over. It is best for a lifting something that can't move freely like a window or installing a door. I tried lifting a dryer and garden gate. I founded the jacks slides out of place too easy.

In doing a price comparison I feared it might turn out too flimsy. It is NOT, it is well made, and readily lifted my very heavy duty shop table saw for leveling. Very pleased with the quality of construction.

They had one job. Lift a piece of furniture. They didn't lift since they wouldn't "catch". I squeezed the handle which was very difficult to do. It lifted about an inch and went right back to its original position. I tried several times with different items but it wouldn't work. Immediately returned for a refund.

As a single (60 something) woman replacing all of the doors in her house this has been an invaluable tool. My new doors are solid and heavy. With this tool I have been able to place the doors and install the hinges and hardware with relative ease.
