The pictures on Amazon make it look small and cheap. These things are bad ass. The shaft is 3/16" or 5.1mm. The handles are thick solid aluminium. Each one without the extra hardware weighs 2.6 pounds or 41.2oz or 1.17kg. The whole kit weighs 8.22lbs or 131.5oz or 3.73kg. The case is sturdy enough for me to stand on ( I'm 160lbs ). The case has a thin band of plastic for a hing. This will eventually fail and will need the great American duck tape hinge. The price is insane I payed only $50 for the kit.

Sure saves a lot of effort when trying to pick up sofa to place coasters under the legs. No trying to lift with one arm while trying use the other to place the coaster.

Makes installs super convenient when alone. My one issue is that the lifting plate bent after a few uses. Wish they were a little more sturdy

Bought as a gift for my husband. He is 70 and has been remodeling our other house..by himself. I thought these would help him with sheeteock, cabinets, and other heavy items, that he needed to move. He raves about them. Definitely worth every penny.

It will bend and break before it gets to lifting 600lbs. Rip off!

This tool is great when you need to lift a piece of furniture off a rug to adjust or remove the rug. The carrying case is such a bonus. We pass this tool around the family as needed.

Update: The company contacted me and gave me a refund. I have updated my review from 1 star to 3 for good customer service. I only wish the jacks worked as well.Original review: A few weeks after the return window closed, they started slipping. Now the Jacks slide down and no longer lift anything. I would buy a better quality jack, unless you only need to use these one time. Pretty disappointed.

When I'm doing repairs or new construction around the house, I often have to stop and ask the husband or my son to assist if something has to be lifted or held in place. I found these jacks and was able to install a new door on the hinge points easily by myself. I did put them in opposite configurations (one on the inside of the door and one on the outside of the door to stabilize the door and then jacked it up to the hinge position - all by myself. Perfect! Allows me to keep going when no one is home to help me.
