The filtration apparatus has a large 500mL capacity. The 300mL graduated funnel has 50mL graduations for quick, easy measurement. The pore size is 10μm. It works great with 50mm membrane filter paper.

At first, I didn't like this set. If i need to change a filter, and some solution was still in the upper chamber, it was hard to pure it out without spill. But later I figured out that the problem due to the weak vacuum that was created. After I changed the pump I start liking this set. Glass is durable and can hold enough mmHg, the percolation stone does not tears the filter paper. So if it is used correctly it is very good.

This vacuum filtration unit includes a plastic lid, glass 300 mL "funnel", glass (fritted) base, rubber stopper (with hole), glass funnel, glass flask (500 mL) and anodized aluminum clamp - all quality items. The clamp is strong enough to firmly keep the funnel and base securely together during vacuum filtration. The ad states it is compatible with 50 mm paper filters but I found it worked well with 47 mm glass fiber filters (and other 47 mm filters). Great value!

Works great. Only thing that should be better would be the clamp. The clamp could have a stronger spring and be thicker on the inside to grab the glass

Other than the small chip on the rounded edge, it seems like a high quality buchner funnel. Kind of disappointed about the chips though.
