Fun on dark nights to throw this ball on the hill and watch my favorite person in the world run after it. It's solid, heavy, not one he should be trying to catch in his mouth. It's a lacrosse type ball, so of course don't toss it for him to catch.The battery stays in well. I have not had any concern it would come out, or he'd chew it out. I don't let him chew the ball, but I gotta say, I also can't keep my eyes on him all the time. The way it's designed, it takes a few moments to set up so it's lit. But they've done a good job of replicating a real lacrosse ball and adding light to it.The whole ball lights up. Looks pretty cool at night, especially with my buddy chasing after it. Fun!I wish it was rechargeable. However, that's not been an issue. Although I've only used it half a dozen times, I've not had to replace batteries yet. They've lasted better than I expected.Four stars mainly because it's a thirty dollar ball. Seems a bit high for what's essentially a very basic design.Does anyone actually play lacrosse at night. That seems dangerous!

The lacrosse ball worked for about five minutes. We tried the second bulb and again lasted for five minutes. We have a Very disappointed lax player

Balls come with total four lights and once you have exhausted these lights then you will have two expensive lacross balls. I returned them.

This is the best thing for you or your child to practice scooping the ball up. It does come with the correct amount of strings and balls. Quality of both - perfect. Would purchase again.

These are light up, not glow in the dark. They don't work without the light. The ball itself is good and is durable with good bounce. But just beware, there are light up
