I worked for years working with a similar product. I needed one for home and this works quite well, is well made and does what it is designed to do. It is wider than the ladder, making it more stable to get on and off the roof and the rubber feet keep it from slipping. If you need to clean the gutters, this keeps the ladder off the gutters so you don't damage them. This will NOT fit on a fiberglass ladder that has metal rungs. The angle that fits on the rung is made to fit all-aluminum ladders. Overall, a well made product. The tool shelf is a plus.

I chose this one because it appeared to be more sturdy than some others and that turned out to be true. The two arms have adjustable length for different needs. I have used it resting on the roof as well as on the wall and it worked very well for both. The only negative is that it doesn't just snap on and off the ladder, so I have decided to leave it attached to one of mine. If you have to attach or detach it, the process takes only a few minutes. For me, it is working fine. Very good product.

Well built. Returned it because I realized I just needed a ladder stabilizer with a 10†standoff for scraping and painting my exterior walls rather than this product.

Wish I would have had this many years ago for my aluminum extension ladder, really makes it more stable and keeps ladder off the gutters. Easy to remove if needed.
