In order for the bottom of your lampshade to sit below your lamp’s light socket, you’ll need the right size of harp. Select a harp that's at least 1 inches shorter than the height of your lampshade.
If you would like a more dramatic look, with your lampshade covering a portion of your lamp’s base, choose a harp that’s 2-3 inches shorter than the height of your lampshade.

These are well made harps but a standard light bulb is too big for a 6 inch harp. Not the harps fault but understand that before buying. Standard bulb needs a 9 inch harp.

6 inch lamp harp. We needed a bigger size so we returned these. They are sturdy and a reasonable price.

Not that good. Do the job more or less. One was poorly assembled, and I had to twist it with a pair of pliers to straighten. Not impressed.

The harp is solid and sturdy, but slightly crooked. The shaft on which the lampshade sits is slightly skewed and can't be adjusted, as it is firmly fixed to the harp. It works, but not as pleasantly as it should.
