That’s probably obvious, don’t wash it, but it had been my little boys laundry basket for 3.5 years (from infancy blowouts to the 3.5 year old mark) and it was definitely time. I figured with it being fabric and pretty flexible I could get away with throwing it in the wash. I was wrong. It still holds things (all his stuffies now in his closet) but it was collapsing enough that it looked sad sitting in the corner trying to hold dirty clothes. Good news is: I liked it enough that I bought the exact same one to replace the one I partially ruined.

I wanted a hamper with a nice design to have in my bathroom. I didn't want a boring white or black plastic one.This was a little shorter than I pictured in my head, but fit exactly for what I needed diameter-wise. It stays up straight on its own, but isn't sturdy enough to hold up completely if heavier cloths (my husband's jeans or a damp towel) land on its edge instead of inside of it. It doesn't collapse completely, but it is kind of like a fabric-material so it's not too surprising.To ensure that it lasts longer, I asked my husband to transfer clothes from it to plastic basket-style hamper we have rather than carry this particular hamper to the basement. I feel like it will last perfectly fine if we leave it in the bathroom to collect clothes. But, I have doubts it will last very long if we are straining the handles or the top portion by carrying all of our clothes up/down two flights of stairs on a weekly basis.The fabric is plastic-y, so it seems like it won't be a problem to wipe it down with Clorox wipes or spraying the inside with cleaner if it needs cleaning.Overall, for the price (~$11) I'm very happy with this purchase. I like the design, and it's fine for what I need.

I have used this hamper for some months now. At first, I felt it was flimsy and wouldn't last. But it has in fact lasted. Because it isn't firm I can get quit a bit of clothes in here. And I love the sunflower theme for my baby girl so I am giving 5 star.
