I bought an old Victorian house built in the late 1800s. The existing cabinet locks were hard to open since the inside spring was nonfunctional but these identical replicas work well and look exactly similar. Even the screw holes are identical making it really easy to change.

I've had this about a year now and it's still holding up well. I put in on an old built-in I refinished in my old house. It's a linen cabinet, so it only gets used once at week AT MOST, usually less. Not sure how it would hold up with everyday or heavy use in a kitchen, but seems pretty good for the price paid.

We have 100 year old farmhouse cabinets with these types of latches. It was really hard to find replacements, but found these for a decent price. They look really nice, but the quality is lacking a bit. They definitely aren't up to par with the originals. They are a thinner metal and I foresee the catch being bent really easily if you aren't careful with closing them. Overall they look nice, but the quality could be better.

I would not buy these, they are stamped light gauge steel. If they get hard use will probably fail quickly.
