I’m an interior designer, this has helped me get measurements done efficiently and consistently correct. It had a lot of functions, which is nice when you need square footage, or help keeping track of your measurements. It’s easy to use, great visibility of numbers, easy to learn (if you read the little manual), and so far, the battery runs great. Great value for the money!

Who knew something like this existed? I just bought a new house with a huge backyard, so I needed a way to measure it. And I didn't have a 100 ft tape measure. This this works great and extremely accurate. I can do some fancy diagonal calculations as well. For the price, it's amazing. I just wish I had discovered it earlier.

I use this laser for architectural surveying: measuring existing spaces for floor and ceiling plans to create as-built drawings. I need to create accurate base drawings so that the construction drawings are correct. For years, I was using a brick sized Leica laser that was provided by my company. I used this in combination with a sturdy 25' Stanley measuring tape. Eventually, I encountered someone in the field with a pocket sized laser like this and had thought about upgrading to something newer. I've used this laser for the past 2 years.I find this laser to be accurate, and work pretty well. Things I like:- pocket sized- only needs 2 AAA (the old Leica needed 4 or 6 AA)- can be used one handed- if needed, it can take measurements for very small distances (less than 12 inches)- for the price it has very long range- the display showing the last several measurements - this helps save some timeThings I don't like:- the back light on the display times out quickly, and if you're measuring in a dim area, it makes reading the numbers difficult.- default measuring in 1/16th of an inch - I wish I could adjust this up to 1/8 of an inch, but owner's manual doesn't say it changes.- the reference point for the laser can change (with one button, you can change the measuring distance from including the length of the device to not including the device.) Since most of the time the laser is against something, you need that additional couple of inches included. Twice on a job this changed without me realizing it, throwing off some measurements.- battery level depicted changes wildly - sometimes you turn it on and it says it has very little battery remaining and then the next time you turn it on, its full! I'd recommend carrying spares - when it reads error, the batteries are dead.Overall its been a good laser for the past two years but I'm thinking of changing to a Bosch GLM100-23. Though the distance range will be less, the laser reference point won't change and the measurements can be rounded up to 1/8 inch.

I really like this device. I've had to figure square footage for some fairly large rooms and being able to just shoot the room from the corner makes the job so much easier.I really haven't gotten deep into the features yet....about the only changes I've made to the factory setup is setting it to include the length of the device itself into all measurements and I've used it to figure square footage in instances that I was on bad terms with math.I've spot checked the accuracy a few times and it's within a small fraction of an inch, so I feel good about using the results I get from it as true.Get a zipper case of some sort to store it in though....a soft bag just isn't enough if you keep it in a tool bag or case. The lens will eventually get damaged. I found one on Amazon made for another brand tool that worked perfectly.

The red laser dot is not bright enough, and is very difficult to see outside even on a cloudy, overcast day. It does function very well for close distances and indoors.

Mätaren är väldigt smidig och funktionell. Var lite osäker när det står "Professionel" på lådan då detta brukar betyda billigt och dåligt. Placerade batterier i den och började mäta lite och det var väldigt smidigt och exakt. Många olika mätmetoder som kommer utforskas i sommar.Bra manual, bärpåse och gedigen för en hemma mekaniker.

Laser measures have come down in price and are still as good as ever this particular laser measure has measured perfectly for me to the millimetre over 100 m long. It’s laser has been verified against known distances and it is dead accurate I would hardly recommend purchasing it.
