The screen is easy to read and it's easy to use. You can even change the measurements between feet to inches.

Addressing a couple of the 1 star reviews:1: it does measure referenced from front or back of unit. The button to select is right on the front and clearly labeled.2: Units of Measure: Press and hold the UNIT button to switch between decimal meters, decimal inches, feet-inches-fraction (eg, 5’ 5-3/16â€)I will update when I use it more

As described, easy to use. connectivity is with smartphone is good.(This is not related to this product hardware ) User interface has places to improve, especially for Iphad it could use full screen to have bigger floor plan. Another issue is small areas measurements overlapping each other, some become unreadable(software fix will fix it ).But it is first release, I am setting five star to have upcoming fixes.
