Just got this today, can’t say I know how to use all the features. Was going to buy the Hoto because I have some of their other tools and love them because of their designs, but their version didn’t seem to have as good reviews.Pros:SmallMany functions besides length. You can do area, volume, and by using a Pythagorean feature, measure a tall wall. 7th grade trigonometry wasn’t a waste after all!PriceRechargeable, no batteriesCons:The measurement is in decimals. For example 8.6 feet. I have another one from Ames that displays 5 feet 7 inches, which seems much more practical. That one uses batteries though and only has a distance function.Multiple functions make it versatile but harder to use. If you’re just looking for distance though, it’s pretty easy to.

I found this laser measurement tool fairly easy to use. The instruction booklet was clear; but I found playing around with it for a bit, helped a lot. I like the compact size and it’s lightweight; but doesn’t feel cheap. The LCD display is quite bright and works great in dimly lit areas. I frequently have to measure window dimensions in a low light/no light building and the good display is a great feature. Wish it had a case of some sort to protect it; but that is my only complaint.This has worked very well for my use (decorating). I love that it can hold 50 sets of measurements. I would recommend it for anyone who needs measurements/dimensions but doesn’t want to rely on old-fashioned tape measures.

The measuring tool keeps changing the reading on every click. My daughter's height went from 5'3" to 5'8" within 3-5 mins of continuous reading. Sending it back.

While it’s great that this has USB-C, it uses older charging technology. So you can’t plug this into a USB-C-to-USB-C cable and get it to juice up. Instead, you have to use the older, slower USB-A-to-USB-C. That’s annoying when we just want to live in a future where we carry around only one cable.I like that this comes with a lanyard. A felt bag or something might have been nice, too, to protect the laser components. I also like that this is somewhat waterproof. The screen did have some light scratches on it out of the box, but when the display is on, it’s hard to tell.I like the size of this and that it has so many different measurement features. The metal enclosure makes it feel durable and sturdy. While two buttons keeps everything simple, I think this could have benefited from a few more buttons, especially a dedicated on/off switch. But not a huge deal.All in all, this seems to work well and I'm happy with it.

This is a really nice little measuring device. It is lightweight and easily fits in the palm of your hand. The screen is especially easy to read. It also includes a little strap so you could hook it to your toolbelt or put it on your wrist. What I like best is that it is rechargable - no more AA or AAA batteries needed with this device.

This lil tool is great! Does more than any single measuring tool I have used yet. Many features in one device. It seems accurate, easy to use, not the easiest to read as the screen size is not small, but small for the amount of information displayed. It is clear and not micro print by any means, but those with weak eyes such as myself may struggle a bit. Its one handy lil tool at a really good price, and does not feel like a cheap garbage, it reall feels quite nice.

Just what I wanted. Just tested today. Very happy with it. It's omething around the house I don't have to use the tape measure and worry if it's straight or not when measuring wall to wall. The size make it very easy to carry around. The design is moden, well I like the design. If not looking close can't even tell it's a digital measuring tape. The other reviews are right that there may be a difference in within 1-3mm, I will have this error (more) even when using the measuring tape. So if not doing precision work to millimeters it's a very good product to get.
