My cyclone 18in fan blows harder on #1 it has 3 modes. The storm lasko fan has 4 modes and still doesn't do what my cyclone fan does. I wish I'd bought another cyclone instead of trying a new kind by lasko. Being a lasko I thought for sure it was going to be amazing like my cyclone. And the small tower fan from lasko not good either same problem. At least for me anyway.

We purchased this and had to return and exchange it because the first one worked for less than an hour and stopped working. The replacement seems to be ok, but we haven’t used it much since it’s cooler weather right now. But I expected better quality for this price.

The box looked like it was already opened when it arrived. Had tons of tape resealing it. As another reviewer said the holes for the metal fan case do not line up. When I plugged it in the main rotor would not work at all. The fan did oscillate when pressed but no rotation of the fan. Very upset with this purchase and will be returning.

I'm in the process of having the seller replace the non oscillating fan and missing remote. Will give seller the opportunity to make the purchase right. We'll see what happens, hopeful we will not be receiving a fan that had already been returned by some one else.

I purchased this in early 2024, and in less than six months, the power button integrated on the pedestal stand no longer functions. I have to use the remote to turn it on and off. I guess that is good in a pinch, but I prefer to not use a remote for the fan as it is easy to lose, battery may die, etc. I checked the warranty coverage and Lasko requires the fan to be returned at CUSTOMER expense. After the time and cost it will take to box this up and ship back to Lasko, it is better off in the trash. Not off to a good start for reliability.

I have purchased 6 of these fans and 5 of them have all broken the oscillating gears. One day they work and the next no oscillation with no warning. You can confirm the gear is broken by simply touching the head unit and seeing it swing freely from left to right. Such a shame as I have been a fan of Lasko fan for years. These fans are built very cheaply and use low quality plastic. The fan blade is pushed on and not secured like previous models. This will come lose with time. The cage is held on simply by pushing together and the clip holes do not even line up.Don't waste your time or money. Lasko should be ashamed that they released such a terrible product. Time to find a new vendor.

The back fan cage and fan blade fall off with vibration. Epoxy works to hold on metal and fan cage to pedestal,
