This is a clear cylinder, 2 inches in diameter and 15 9/16 inches long with plastic slide on caps for ends. It is not very loud. It has a 3 second duration of sound, then turn it over for 3 more seconds. I sent it back. The first piece of Latin Percussion equipment that I wasn’t very pleased with. It might be possible to close up some of the holes for a longer duration. And replace the falling spheres with bb’s. I ended up with a 24 inch hand drum and swishing bb’s around in it.

I'm using this in a symphonic band. It's well made, I just wish it had more volume. Other then that I have no complaints whatsoever.
