The bulbs fit perfectly into my sons lava lamp. The stock one it came with did not last long. I bought this pack to replace it and it seems to be working out just fine. The bulb seems to be limiting the appropriate amount of heat.

My son and daughter both have lava lamps. One takes a round bulb and the other had this kind of bulb. I tried using a round bulb in the one, but it took significantly longer to heat up compared to this style. I would switch the other to this style bulb too but the lamp's wattage is lower. I'd recommend this style before the normal small round bulb, but just check the wattage of the lamp before switching.

Fixed my sons lava lamp, created the proper heat and light. Heats up the lamp quick aswell. The picture is me turning it back on after it cooled down to show the brightness.
