Lamps are rated at 2500 hours life, which is about 7 months at 12 hrs/day. I'm getting about 6-8 months running my lava lamp on a timer for 14 hrs/day.Lamp is of sufficient heat output that lava performs as expected.

Can't get enough of that late night lava lamp lingo all thanks to these amazing bulbs....Al the other bulbs I've tried in the past seem to not make it after turning the lamp off and it's hot from being on for any duration of time long enough to make the lava float...It's as if the temperature change from hot to cold makes the filament snap...I seriously haven't bought replacement bulbs for one of my lava lamps or for my glitter lamp since last April... not worth the hassle for maybe a day...But I've had both lamps on eeeeerrr day for cost to two weeks and have turned my lamps off eeeeeerrr night and I'm still only using the first two bulbs....BRAVO

Really happy with the quality of this. Original bulb in my legs lamp burned out. This was a perfect fit, shipped fast. Lamp heats up and lights up just fine, and it was a good deal for the multi pack. Nice to have a few on deck.

People can say they are the correct wattage, but I actually checked. They are supposed to be 25w and they tested at 26.1 watts, which is good for my lava lamp.Excellent price for a good product.

I wanted to make sure I replaced my lava lamp bulb with the proper one for that lamp. This is the bulbs they recommend using and they worked very well. The round ones worked better for moving the lava around. Many of my other lava lamps came with the conical one. I find that it heats up the wax too fast in a lava branded 16" lamp. They were easy to install, and just as bright as the old bulb.
