If I were to do it again, I would go for one that is not as loud. This is for a lazy Susan in my pantry, and I can't imagine needing something from it in the middle of the night, it will wake up the whole house. If you don't care at all about the sound, it's a good product. If you have Mysophonia, - this is a no go.

I used this under a piece of granite. It works fabulous and has a low profile. It also has space to be glued to the granite.

Steel Lazy Susan Turntable assembly... No real complaints. Nice that it's made in USA! Ball bearing race is almost continuous around the assembly, which indicates that this should carry a relatively heavy load without any problem. Very easy to install. Make sure you lightly oil or grease the bearings before you install this turntable and it should last for many years. Only caution is that I would recommend you do not use a wood or composite top that is more than 24 inches in diameter, with this 12 inch turntable, in order to keep it stable. Overall, very nice and very functional.

I use this lazy Susan hardware whenever I make wooden lazy Susan’s as gifts and it does not disappoint. Holds a lot of wait and still turns smoothly. Some rattling noise from the turning mechanism but that is expected. Does not come with screws to attach but that is a small additional purchase. I also would recommend adding some kind of bumper (like a clear cabinet protector or flat pad) to the bottom so the metal doesn’t scratch the counter or table it’s used on.
