Got this for one use case only, and it does the job I need. So, I found a little spot I enjoy bird watching and taking multiple cameras...but that means I need a way to control the cameras I'm not on. Since I tend to stay on the body set for video, I wanted remotes for the other cameras set to photo. So all I really needed was a shutter release. Plugged this in, my M6ii immediately recognized it, and the shutter release works perfectly. That is all I need it to do, and it does it well. If you need a simple shutter release, at the price point, I'm not sure you'll find a more reliable one suited to your camera. I've tried a few wireless generic "all camera" blue tooth remotes that just had too any issues, this one has been flawless so far. Very happy.

It comes with an instruction booklet explaining how to use the device, which is appreciated. There are a lot of functions of this shutter release remote and I'm pleased with how it works. I am using this for custom long exposures with high ND strengths.

I did not realize that it takes a AAA battery but thats fine. Cable is nice and long alowing you to move around.
