Works great. It’s nice to have them at home when we get a new toy to have a peace of mind. I tested everything as soon we got it. Lead is so scary where that stuff is in it.

I did as directed. Once put into vinegar it turns orange. I rubbed for 30 seconds on some paint I was weary about. It did not change colors, so hoping for the best!

What a waste of money. The swabs turn white when I rub them on surfaces instead of orange or that purple color. They don’t seem to be accurate at all.

Tested many things, most of which ( according to the color) were lead free. Guess that’s a good thing, but not sure of its accuracy . The strips seem durable. As for its value, that depends on its accuracy since it’s questionable.

I was comparing kits on the market and this one was highly recommended. It immediately detected lead in an antique dollhouse and and old mug that I was using. It immediately turns purple when exposed to lead so it’s very easy to read and interpret the test. For me, the color showed up right away. I didn’t have to wait for the lead to show up.
