I love these racks! The are very sturdy and a great value for the price I paid. Fit my car great and went on easily. Both my kayaks felt safe and secure on the car while driving an hour. Haven't taken them for a longer trip yet, but I am confident that they would do fine. Got some scratches on them already from my ratchet straps, but haven't noticed any rust so far.

I bought for upcoming guys weekend. They came in fast and were easy to install. Putting them together was easy but time-consuming. Do yourself a favor and invest in deep well socks for a wratchet. Had no issues using there or back. Great product for the money.

The screws barely clear the roof on my 2010 RAV4 but the rack works great. The straps that are included only hold the kayak C/C and U/D so you definitely want to get some front and rear straps to hold it F/A. I took it on the highway multiple times over 55mph and the kayaks did not move at all.

I bought this set of 4 kayak J racks from Amazon and the fabricator is Leader Accessories. Excellent racks for my two 10-feet long Pelican Bandit kayaks, 30 inch wide. Easy installations, all the parts matched. I can enter perfectly in my regular 2-car garage in Florida with all 4 racks mounted on top of my 2007 Toyota Highlander. Still have 2 inches distance to the opened garage door. I tested the racks from the store to my house the racks with the kayaks mounted and they were very stabile. Thanks.

I’ve used my kayak racks a few times now. They’re fairly easy to install, and hold the kayaks themselves well enough. It can be a pain putting the kayaks up and getting around to strap them in, but I also have a Jeep so it’s a given with the height. One issue I’ve found is that I always have one J hooks that moves around slightly during the drive. Part of this is because the roof rack on my Jeep itself has wide bars which makes it hard for the fixing mechanisms to get a good grip and tightening needs to be precise and even on each side.

Installed it two days ago, seems pretty sturdy, it was easy assemble and install, it took maybe 1 hour to put it all together and install on a car. I have pretty large kayaks so I had to install them in a same angle. I wish straps a little longer. Ordered a set of straps from another seller.

After one use the rubber belt material fell apart where it meets the bottom metal plate. You also can’t get these tight enough on my standard roof rack, which the movement is a potential hazard. Unfortunately, I missed my return window. Planning to reach out to the company for a replacement.
