I bought this LED strip to add lights to my mini fridge in our garage because it can already be a little dark in there and wanted an affordable solution. This wound up working perfectly and it actually looks as if we purchased a fridge with a light built into it.The great thing about this light and one of the main reasons I chose this one in particular is because of the magnetic strip. I wanted to be able to easily remove for two reasons:1) Easily be able to change out the batteries.2) Option to remove while defrosting the fridge (the freezer in this one has accumulated a lot of ice in the past)The magnet on this is pretty strong and I gave the door a hard close to see if it would come loose and/or fall and it didn't budge. I mounted on the left side facing the right and everything lights up really well. I found that the ambient sensor only matters when the motion is first detected and even if the room is bright after that the light still stays on. Because of this, since the fridge is completely dark when the door is shut, opening it triggers the motion sensor and it comes on every time. The 15-second delay works perfectly because the door is never open for very long unless we're refilling it, and when I do refill it the constant motion keeps the light on.I have only had for a few days so I will update on battery life. Because when I installed it I only had rechargeable batteries on hand, I'm going to install a brand new set of batteries today (01.29.2018) and will update as to the life of the batteries/LEDs when something eventually goes out. For reference, these are the batteries I'm using:

Bought this for my mini fridge and its worked great! The adhesives didn't really manage to stick anywhere on my fridge tho, but that didn't really matter since I just plopped the light at one of the bottom corners of my fridge.The light is very bright and can be a bit blinding when reaching for a soda in the middle of the night. Motion detection works really great, all I gotta do is swing the mini fridge door open and it lights up the fridge with that motion alone.I will say that the battery life is ok too,but then again I have family members going in my mini fridge multiple times a day since it's where we keep all the sodas, adult beverages & unhealthy drinks at lol. I'd say it takes about 3 months before the light becomes noticeably dim and I have to change out the batteries. But once the new batteries go in that sucker is bright. Just be sure to get at least A 12 pack of Triple A batteries since this item requires 4.

Bought these for a closet. Put two in. One on the ceiling and one on the wall. The one on the wall fell within hours. The magnet did not hold to the light. I put it back up and so far it has held but it broke on the fall and the battery will not stay in any longer. The other one goes off beautifully whenever I approach the closet, however when the hallway light is on, the light in the closet won't work so I need to go shut off the hallway light in order to see clearly what is in the closet. Not sure if this is really working for me. On a positive note it shines brightly!

THEY WORK! I purchased from another company who is no longer selling them and loved them so much wanted more. Not finding the same company I read endless reviews for others and ordered from two different companies. None of them worked for closets or wardrobes. As soon as you opened the door ANY light from the room would shine in and the darn things wouldn't come on!!!!!!!! I actually had to stand in my closet and close the door and still they didn't come on right away unless i took it down and wiggled it. They ONLY worked in pitch blackness even though they were sold for closets and wardrobes.So again I spent hours searching, read each write up and review. These said they will come on in low light!!!! FINALLY. Of course I was a bit nervous when they arrived so I put them to the test. BINGO! They work in low light settings they way they should. If you are using for drawers, closets, wardrobes etc this is the brand you want.

It never turns on until you hit it. So remember to carry a flashlight so you can find it and hit it to turn it on in the dark. Unfortunately the adhesive doesn't fasten it to anything so whatever you think you've attached it to, look in that vicinity on the floor. Wait for the sound of it to fall mere moments after you walk away. On the plus side since the motion detection on it is completely useless, it doesn't go through the batteries nearly as fast as you'd think a working motion detection light would. Get one for your boss! A great gift for a mother-in-law for that dark stairwell she's always complaining about.

I needed some type of light for my stairs. After some research i discovered motion lights without the need to be plugged in.These particular lights are the best bang for the buck after comparing to other similiar ones.My order came in right on time and easy to set up even without the need for instructions.Just place the magnet where you want. And then put in some triple A batteries and stick to magnet.Other lights took too long to turn off. These ones take 15 seconds and turn on whether you are going up or coming down.The best thing is that the light doesnt turn on during the day.I placed my light at the very top of the staircase and it still turns on when im at the first step.I was a little worried because it was one light but it lights my entire staircase without overbearing and hurting my eyes at night.I plan to order another one for my restroom so i dont have to turn on the light at night and outside by my front door as a security device to strangers.If youre lost and confused about which light to get, and i know you are since Amazon has an amazing selection of everything, give this a try!

It has a pre-installed double sided sticky tape to secure to the ceiling. Don’t use this as it’ll eventually unstick crash to the ground and break. if it wasn’t for that idiotic item, the product is excellent. It’s very bright and works when it needs to work.
