Can someone help me figure out how to turn the controller on after plugging it in. All wires are connected properly. The voltage meter in the picture was purchased to see if the controller had power. I have it plugged in and get no digital display.What am I missing?

They are really cool lights take some effort though to install but once they are up they are amazing

I've had this set for some time now and am still waiting for a free weekend that I can devote to install them. The instructions aren't much help; the video is better. For example, where to put the sensors? There's no indication which way they should face, nor how high they should be. There's going to be a lot of trial and error. Plus, I'm going to have to drill some holes to get the wires to the right places, and I need to make sure I don't make any mistakes there. They could look great if done well, or really bad if I don't get it right the first time.

This multicolor LED light strip for stairs is definitely unique and an interesting and fun way to illuminate any sets of stairs! The overall functionality is spot on and works great with setup and cycling through different "scenes" and this sets apart from others on the market! Installation is a bit to work through and wouldn't say difficult, but more intensive than just slapping something on your wall. Comes with all needed to make the install go smoothly and efficiently, and leaving you with a clean and professional result oriented stair lighting! Trust the durability of this product as I was not gentle with the install and didn't encounter any rips in the strip or faulty LED's! Think this will last but only time will tell. Would definitely purchase again and have received countless compliments from guests and friends/family that have visited and seen this in action!

I recently tried installing the Motion Sensor with Daylight Sensor LED Stair Light Kit KMG-45, which includes a 16.4FT RGB cuttable LED strip. Unfortunately, I found the installation process to be quite challenging.The instructions weren’t as clear as I had hoped, which made it tough to figure out the best way to mount the light and connect the wiring. Additionally, the adhesive on the LED strip didn’t stick well to the handrail, requiring me to make adjustments that added to the frustration.Once I finally got it set up, the motion sensor worked well, and the lights look great, but I wish the installation was simpler. Overall, I am pleased with the final result, but I can't give it a high rating due to the installation difficulties.
