I bought this timer to help my toddler understand the concept of time. We frequently set timers for him to finish playtime, bath time, or even time out. This visual timer has been a game changer for us. He is able to have some sense of time by tracking the rainbow. The timer can show counting up (filling up rainbow) or counting down (rainbow fading in sections). It is easy to use and has preset times for 1, 3, 5, 10, and 15 minute intervals. You just slide the tab on the back to your desired length of time and choose counting up/down then press the button on the front to start the timer. The negatives I have with the timer is there is no digital time display for adults to see exactly how much time is left on the timer and you can only set it to the preset times.

I got this timer to help with transitions for my 3 year old. It is very simple to set up and use: you just select the time increment with a switch on the back (1,3, 5, 10 or 15 minutes) and press the cloud to start the countdown. My toddler loves the colors and the rainbow animation. It was easy for them to understand that as the rainbow disappears, time is going down. The alarm at the end isn't annoying or jarring and the volume can be adjusted, which was a huge plus for us adults. We primarily use it for countdown to bedtime, but it also can be used in count up mode. I do wish the price was a bit lower but have no regrets with my purchase.

I got this for a 5 year old that struggles with time concept and it proved very effective.HOWEVER, I certainly wish there was longer time options like 20 minutes and I wish the time up ring could be louder or longer.

I bought this for my classroom, for my kindergarten students to time their sensory breaks. They are allowed to have 5 minutes at a time in our break space, and setting a timer is the hardest part for them. In the past I used a cube timer, but even putting that in the correct position was hard for some students (or they would conveniently 'forget' to set it)I mounted this on the wall of the break space, set to 5 minutes, and explained it to the kids.The good: Super visible, only one button for the kids to press, adjustable volume on the sound at the endThe bad: There is a delay before the display lights up, and if the student thinks they didn't do it right and presses it again, the timer seems to pause. This results in an infinite sensory break. There seems to be no way to prevent students from pausing it, and at least some students have been pausing it intentionally to get an extra long break.The ugly: Just doesn't work. Sometimes it seems to hang up and stop counting, as though it has been paused but without any input. Much more of the time, however, it just plain doesn't turn on, and students come interrupt me to tell me that the timer isn't working, or students that are upset and really need a break just give up and go cry at their desk because they can't set the timer. I have to cross the classroom and use the volume wheel to turn the timer off and back on again to get it to work again, and it only stays functional for like an hour.My hope was that this would be an easy timer for students to set, cutting down on the number of times that I had to help students with the timer during lessons. Instead it has multiplied the number of times I have to stop teaching to help, and at times I have just had to declare that the break space is closed just so that we can get a lesson finished. Very disappointed.

I would not recommend this. It is a great idea and concept but it needs better parts. When pushing the cloud button it sometimes does not connect and you have to push it four or five times to get the connection to go through.

Bought this for potty training and my daughter loves the rainbow visual. I love that the timer is loud enough for me to hear from other parts of the house. And super easy to use.

We like to use this during our nighttime routine and also for different chores throughout the day. It really helps our young kids with time management and also motivating them to finish certain tasks.

Es muy bonito y se mira de buena calidad, muy robusto, pero francamente no sirve como temporizador, luce más como si fuera un simple juguete colorido para bebés y no para niños pequeños. Lo estuve probando y simplemente no logré que funcionara apropiadamente, a veces encendÃa y a veces no, me aseguré de que tuviera baterÃas nuevas y aún asà la luz es muy tenue y el volumen muy bajo. No llama nada la atención y el máximo de tiempo (15 mins) es demasiado poco para la mayorÃa de actividades a las que un niño pequeño se somete, simplemente no sirve. Es una lástima viniendo de esta marca, es un producto muy bien diseñado pero muy mal pensado; de diseño 10, de funcionalidad 2.

I love that it’s magnetic. It is on the fridge and it makes transitions a lot easier. My kids respond very well to it.

Die Kids bekommen durch das visuelle ein Gefühl für die Zeit. Egal ob noch noch 5 Minuten bis zum los gehen oder 15 Minuten fürs spielen. Ich würde mich über noch mehr Zeitoptionen freuen.
