Genuine, Full Grain Cowhide Leather Strap
Made using US cowhides, Chrome tannage is heat resistant, durable and supple temper. The Leather is only as good as the leather from which it is cut.

I use this product for my small business to make curtain tie backs. I’ll begin by saying that the quality of the leather is good. The thickness is listed as a range, so it’s expected that will be variable with each order. The biggest problem I have with this seller is that each time I order from them, the leather I get is a different color. I’ve ordered at least 5 times, selecting the same color way, and each time has been different. If you don’t mind variation in listed color way then this a fine product, the price is tough to beat, and shipping is always fast.

I was making handles for a bag and it was thin enough to bend easily but sturdy enough to hold a purse. I had bought some 8/9 oz staps per the pattern instructions and they were way too thick. I think that mine were 4/5 ounces that I ordered. I would not go thicker unless you are supporting something super heavy as it's too difficult to put rivets through etc. I bought a strap cutter thinking I had to trim down pieces, but this is done for you already.

1 inch wide X 72 inch long many, manyColors. Smooth blackish leather on one side, and which ever color you pick on the rougher side leather. I chose dark brown to put on a couple of custom made boot jacks I made for friends and family. Glued leather strip in the "U" part of the boot jack, trimmed off any extra leather. And boot jack is ready to given as gifts. So far so good. Time will tell, and hopefully the leather will last a long, long time.

Doesn’t even smell like leather?! Smells very chemically! It’s supposed to be REAL LEATHER? The color, size, value are good, but I don’t think it’s leather. Haven’t used it yet too afraid to… so disappointing
