As stated it is all small scraps of various thickness. The light weight is almost thin too tool. It is however good for small projects for the kids to learn leather work.

I bought a few of these and each package got a variety of sizes. A couple were decent sized pieces. 8x8 or 10x10. One piece may have a deformity but hey it's scraps. Overall the quality of leather is amazing. Definitely great for small scale projects and practice pieces.

My leather came in a bag knotted at the top and was labeled as being thin leather scraps. it was NOT thin, this was like 7-10oz scraps. When my husband helped me weigh the bag, which was supposed to be 4lbs, it weighed just shy of 2.5 lbs. so they shorted me 1.5 lbs of leather. BUYERS BEWARE, CHECK THICKNESS AND WEIGHT. Returned!

I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

Largest pieces are around 8â€x8â€, but vast majority are smaller than 4†in one direction. Great for tiny scrap projects but nothing as small as like a small notebook cover. Otherwise, leather is decent, a couple are very loose, but most are good density.

Extremely disappointing and annoying. Waited 3 weeks for assorted lightweight leather in earth tones.... MAYBE one of these pieces will actually be usable. Its all way to heavy. I dont have a caliper handy but just by eye most of these pieces are 3mm thick at least. Everything is also the same shade of brown, so even if it was thin enough to use i wouldn't have the variety i expected. I have less than a month now until i need these pieces done thanks to the long weight and i cant even use it. Complete waste of money.You get 2 stars because it is leather. And earth toned. So..... there's that.
