The Safe Easy Way To Trim Your Pet's Nails
- Squeeze the handles and release the blades.
- Turn on the LED light.
- Trim the nails slowly and carefully.
- Smooth out rough edges with the nail file.

Trimming Tip
- Hold the paw firmly while trimming the nails. Use a single stroke to cut off the top of the nail quickly.
- Sure the handle at the bottom of the file makes the nail smooth.
- Avoid cutting off too much at once. If your pet’s nails are long, trim a small amount and wait about a week to ten days before trimming again. Repeat this process every week or ten days until the nails reach the desired length.
- Cut perpendicular to the nail, avoiding extreme angles and staying away from the quick.

I recently adopted a beagle and some of his nails are tough to see the line where you don't want to trim past. So I thought I'd try these clippers with the light. Very happy with them. Sharp, easy to handle and the light is a nice help. I would definitely buy these again.

I would give it five stars for function. It’s sharp and works well. The light is a very helpful aide. A took off a star because the handle lock broke almost immediately. Not the worst problem. I would still recommend buying this to trim pets nails.

These work well, but are not as sharp as described. If your animal has thick nails I would not choose these as. It took a lot of force for me to cut one of my dogs nails.

Best nail clippers I’ve ever bought. Sharp enough to do the job right. Good quality. I would definitely buy these again. I have 4 dogs various sizes and no issues with clipping their nails with this product.

The light needs to be a little brighter but other than that, the clipper works great. We used a flashlight to see the toenails better so as not to clip the quick. It is sturdy and easy to hold while clipping. There is a small file that is stored inside one of the handles.
