I bought these for the ease of use and size. These lights are not my main grow lights, I have T5s for that. I wanted these to add it little extra light and they are perfect. I like the warm, brightness of them. I’ve ordered 3! The timer has 3 options which I like. Very lightweight. And the price is right too!

Absolutely love these lights, but have to be honest, these are ok supplemental lights & we should be careful in using these as a main light source for our plant babies. For background I am obsessed with aroids (monstera, pothos, philodendron, anthurium) that mostly enjoy bright indirect light. I’ve grown in a variety of settings, but indoor (no grow tent) plant parenthood was the most challenging for me.As a beginner plant mama I was deep within that conundrum where my plants thrived for months before they ungratefully unalived themselves. I was routinely showing up at Lowe’s to repurchase the same plants. The cycle played on repeat until I started using a light meter & researched light requirements for each plant (in foot candles). I realized a lot of these little cute lights on Amazon don’t meet many plants basic light requirements, including this one.One light strip is the equivalent of low light conditions. My plants that sit 2-3 inches directly under the light are bathed in approx 150-250 foot candles. A plant that needs bright indirect light would need a bunch of these lights to flourish. I only keep 2-3 plants in 2-4 inch pots under these lights. There’s such a huge learning curve as a beginner plant parent, I don’t want ppl thinking they have a brown thumb. It’s not you boo, it’s these lights. So, if you’re using these lights as your primary lights, be sure to observe how your plants are growing. Any stunted growth, poor water uptake (soil/medium stays wet for dayyyys), yellowing leaves & slow/no new growth/leaf growth might be signs that your plant baby needs more light (not more fertilizer or a repot).I’m not dropping stars on this light bc it serves its purpose & they’re aesthetically pleasing, other than that this is a night light in comparison to the other grow lights out there. Unfortunately better lights tend to be much pricier but worth it in the long run, especially if you’re constantly swapping out your unalived babies (may they rest in peace).

I’m using them to help out in my reptile tanks and they work perfectly. The plants love it. My snake was basking in the light right after I put them in, Which he’s never done with a light before. So I’d call this an amazing success. I will absolutely be purchasing again and I will update over time. They’re a bit brighter than I thought they’d be. And the timer works perfectly.

This product worked for exactly what I needed. I was concerned that the cords connecting each row of lights would not be long enough but there was plenty of length. They were easy to attach on the underside of my shelves. (See picture 2). It’s nice to have them automatically go on and off without having to reset every day. Definitely would recommend and buy again.

Cords are long and stiff, lights are very good. How will I hide all the cord?

Love these. Added them above my desk to give my plants some supplemental light and they also add a great lighting tone to the space.

Will definitely be returning this product. Wish the sellers posted average foot candles based off the distance from the light itself. As you can see from the photo, only 2 inches under the light and on the brightest setting, barely reaches around 300 foot candles, which is very low light.
